Shadow Weaving
Priest · Shadow · Row 4 of 7 · 3 ranks
Changed from Classic
Shadow Weaving sits in row 4 of the Priest Shadow tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 3 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.
Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.
What Shadow Weaving does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Your Shadow damage spells have a 33% chance to increase the Shadow damage you deal by 2% for 15 sec, stacking up to 5 times.
- Rank 2: Your Shadow damage spells have a 67% chance to increase the Shadow damage you deal by 2% for 15 sec, stacking up to 5 times.
- Rank 3: Your Shadow damage spells have a 100% chance to increase the Shadow damage you deal by 2% for 15 sec, stacking up to 5 times.
How to reach Shadow Weaving
Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Shadow rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Shadow Weaving.
Is Shadow Weaving worth the points?
Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
