What Improved Starfire does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Reduces the cast time of Starfire by 0.1 sec and Starfire has a 3% chance to stun its target for 3 sec.
  2. Rank 2: Reduces the cast time of Starfire by 0.2 sec and Starfire has a 6% chance to stun its target for 3 sec.
  3. Rank 3: Reduces the cast time of Starfire by 0.3 sec and Starfire has a 9% chance to stun its target for 3 sec.
  4. Rank 4: Reduces the cast time of Starfire by 0.4 sec and Starfire has a 12% chance to stun its target for 3 sec.
  5. Rank 5: Reduces the cast time of Starfire by 0.5 sec and Starfire has a 15% chance to stun its target for 3 sec.

How to reach Improved Starfire

Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Balance rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Improved Starfire.

Is Improved Starfire worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
