Soul Harvesting Soul Harvesting

Warlock · Affliction · Row 2 of 7 · 2 ranks
NEW in Forever

Soul Harvesting sits in row 2 of the Warlock Affliction tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 2 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Soul Harvesting does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: You gain Soul Harvest for 10 sec if a victim is killed while afflicted with your Drain Soul. Soul Harvest allows your Mana to regenerate at 50% of normal speed while you are casting spells, and grants a 50% increase to your Mana regeneration.
  2. Rank 2: You gain Soul Harvest for 10 sec if a victim is killed while afflicted with your Drain Soul. Soul Harvest allows your Mana to regenerate at 100% of normal speed while you are casting spells, and grants a 100% increase to your Mana regeneration.

How to reach Soul Harvesting

Row 2 opens after you spend 5 points in the earlier Affliction rows. Level 15 is the earliest you can pick up Soul Harvesting.

Is Soul Harvesting worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
