NEW in Forever Active ability
Bane of Havoc sits in row 5 of the Warlock Destruction tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.
New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Bane of Havoc does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Afflicts the target for 5 min, causing 15% of all damage done by the Warlock to other targets to also be dealt to the cursed target. Bane of Havoc is limited to 1 target, and only one Bane per Warlock can be active on any one target.
How to reach Bane of Havoc
Row 5 opens after you spend 20 points in the earlier Destruction rows. Level 30 is the earliest you can pick up Bane of Havoc.
Is Bane of Havoc worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 5. That is 20 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent or the picks it unlocks suits your build.
What it unlocks
Once Bane of Havoc is maxed, it opens this talent deeper in the tree: Incinerate.
