Improved Distract Improved Distract

Rogue · Subtlety · Row 3 of 7 · 2 ranks
NEW in Forever

Improved Distract sits in row 3 of the Rogue Subtlety tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It can take up to 2 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Improved Distract does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Increases the radius of your Distract ability by 3 yds, and further reduces the Stealth detection of distracted enemies as though they were an additional 1 level lower.
  2. Rank 2: Increases the radius of your Distract ability by 5 yds, and further reduces the Stealth detection of distracted enemies as though they were an additional 2 levels lower.

How to reach Improved Distract

Row 3 opens after you spend 10 points in the earlier Subtlety rows. Level 20 is the earliest you can pick up Improved Distract.

Is Improved Distract worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
