Summon Hawk
Hunter · Beast Mastery · Row 4 of 7 · Single rank
NEW in Forever Active ability
Summon Hawk sits in row 4 of the Hunter Beast Mastery tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.
New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.
80 Mana | 35 yd range | Instant | 6 sec cooldown
What Summon Hawk does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Command a hawk to dive-bomb your targeted enemy, dealing 32 Physical damage and continuing its assault for 18 sec. Only 2 hawks can be active at once. Summon Hawk shares its cooldown with Arcane Shot.
How to reach Summon Hawk
Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Beast Mastery rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Summon Hawk.
Is Summon Hawk worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 4. That is 15 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
