Intimidation Intimidation

Hunter · Beast Mastery · Row 5 of 7 · Single rank
Changed from Classic Active ability Requires Bestial Swiftness

Intimidation sits in row 5 of the Hunter Beast Mastery tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Bestial Swiftness maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.

Changed from Classic. This talent now works differently than in Classic, so read the ranks below before you spend any points.

8% of base mana | 100 yd range | Instant | 1 min cooldown

What Intimidation does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Command your pet to Stun the target for 3 sec on its next successful attack, which also gains 100% increased critical strike chance. Generates high threat.

How to reach Intimidation

Row 5 opens after you spend 20 points in the earlier Beast Mastery rows. Level 30 is the earliest you can pick up Intimidation, and you will need Bestial Swiftness maxed first.

Is Intimidation worth the points?

One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 5. That is 20 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent or the picks it unlocks suits your build.

What it unlocks

Once Intimidation is maxed, it opens this talent deeper in the tree: Bestial Wrath.
