NEW in Forever Requires Rapid Killing

Rapid Recuperation sits in row 5 of the Hunter Marksmanship tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Rapid Killing maxed first. It can take up to 2 points. Max it fully, or put in a few points just to open the rows below.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Rapid Recuperation does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Hitting a target with your Serpent Sting ability grants you 25% and consuming Rapid Killing grants you 50% of your Mana regeneration while casting for the next 15 sec.
  2. Rank 2: Hitting a target with your Serpent Sting ability grants you 50% and consuming Rapid Killing grants you 100% of your Mana regeneration while casting for the next 15 sec.

How to reach Rapid Recuperation

Row 5 opens after you spend 20 points in the earlier Marksmanship rows. Level 30 is the earliest you can pick up Rapid Recuperation, and you will need Rapid Killing maxed first.

Is Rapid Recuperation worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
