What Improved Arcane Shot does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

  1. Rank 1: Reduces the cooldown of your Arcane Shot by 0.3 sec. Does not affect the cooldown of abilities which share a cooldown with Arcane Shot.
  2. Rank 2: Reduces the cooldown of your Arcane Shot by 0.6 sec. Does not affect the cooldown of abilities which share a cooldown with Arcane Shot.
  3. Rank 3: Reduces the cooldown of your Arcane Shot by 0.9 sec. Does not affect the cooldown of abilities which share a cooldown with Arcane Shot.
  4. Rank 4: Reduces the cooldown of your Arcane Shot by 1.2 sec. Does not affect the cooldown of abilities which share a cooldown with Arcane Shot.
  5. Rank 5: Reduces the cooldown of your Arcane Shot by 1.5 sec. Does not affect the cooldown of abilities which share a cooldown with Arcane Shot.

How to reach Improved Arcane Shot

Row 3 opens after you spend 10 points in the earlier Marksmanship rows. Level 20 is the earliest you can pick up Improved Arcane Shot.

Is Improved Arcane Shot worth the points?

Every rank makes the effect stronger, so putting in a few points while leveling is totally fine. Max it when the final rank is the heart of your endgame build. And if you only need it as a stepping stone, no shame in stopping early.
