Wrack sits in row 7 of the Warlock Affliction tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Siphon Life maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Wrack does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

1. Rank 1: Tears the target apart from within, dealing 36 Shadow damage every 1 sec and increasing the damage they take from your other Shadow damage over time effects by 10%. Lasts 6 sec.

How to reach Wrack

Row 7 opens after you spend 30 points in the earlier Affliction rows. Level 40 is the earliest you can pick up Wrack, and you will need Siphon Life maxed first.

Is Wrack worth the points?

One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 7. That is 30 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
