What Holy Shield does at each rank
A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.
- Rank 1: Increases chance to block by 20% for 10 sec, and deals 110 Holy damage for each attack blocked while active. Damage caused by Holy Shield causes 20% additional threat. Each block expends a charge. 4 charges.
How to reach Holy Shield
Row 7 opens after you spend 30 points in the earlier Protection rows. Level 40 is the earliest you can pick up Holy Shield, and you will need Templar's Bulwark maxed first.
Is Holy Shield worth the points?
One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 7. That is 30 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
