NEW in Forever Requires Pyroblast

Hot Streak sits in row 4 of the Mage Fire tree. A talent tree is simply the grid of talents for one class role, and you will need Pyroblast maxed first. It costs just one point. So the only question is whether opening its row fits your build.

New in Forever. This talent never existed in Classic, so don't go looking for an old version to compare. There is none.

What Hot Streak does at each rank

A rank is one level of a talent. Every rank makes the effect a bit stronger. The list below uses the exact wording from the beta client, word for word.

Rank 1: Your non-periodic critical strikes with Fireball, Frostfire Bolt, Fire Blast, and Scorch grant Hot Streak for 15 sec. Hot Streak reduces the cast time of Pyroblast by 25%, stacking up to 3 times.

How to reach Hot Streak

Row 4 opens after you spend 15 points in the earlier Fire rows. Level 25 is the earliest you can pick up Hot Streak, and you will need Pyroblast maxed first.

Is Hot Streak worth the points?

One point gives you the full effect. The real cost is opening row 4. That is 15 points in the rows above, so take it when the talent suits your build.
